Introduction

Grayson & Co. is committed to preventing the occurrence of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations. At Grayson & Co., we have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. We have taken concrete steps to tackle modern slavery. This statement also sets out the actions that we have taken to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to our business.

Our Business

We establish a relationship of trust and integrity with all our officers, employees, independent contractors, representatives, and agents, which is built upon mutually beneficial factors. Our selection of business partners includes due diligence of the partner’s reputation, respect for the law, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

We have not been made aware of any allegations of human trafficking or slavery activities against any of our partners. If we were, then we would act immediately against the partner and report it to relevant authorities.

Policies

Grayson & Co. operates the following policies for identifying and preventing slavery and human trafficking in our operations:

  • Whistleblowing Policy | We encourage all employees, business partners, and clients to report any suspicion of slavery or human trafficking without fear of retaliation.

  • Code of Conduct | Our code encourages employees and independent contractors to do the right thing by clearly stating the actions and behavior expected of them when representing our business. We strive to maintain the highest standards of conduct and ethical behavior when operating abroad and managing our work.

Business Partner Due Diligence

Grayson & Co. conducts due diligence on all new business partners during on-boarding. This includes:

  • Assessing risks in the provision of particular consulting services;

  • Auditing the partners, and their health and safety standards, labor relations, and employee contracts;

  • Requiring improvements to sub-standard employment practices; and

  • Sanctioning business partners that fail to improve their performance in line with our requirements.
